My daughter has been learning classical Indian vocals from this institute for the last 2 years and I love the way she has grown her acumen in this domain. All thanks to the guidance and mentorship of Mukta ma’am who’s shaping the young buds into soulful voices. I joined and attended music classes at Pt. Bhimsen Joshi Sangeet Academy in Sector 49 Gurgaon for vocal music lessons, and it was life-changing! The teachers are extremely patient and technically proficient – particularly in Hindustani classical and bhajan styles. The studio is warm, professional, and ideal for students of all ages. I have been sending my daughter( 4yrs)for Vocals here and its been almost 7 months. Initially my daughter and me both were a little apprehensive but since then she developed a liking to the whole process and that actually means shes been enjoying it and looks forward to it every weekend. Whats more fun is she clings on to her teacher during her entire class and feels totally at home and this is more important at this age to not learn forcefully but explore your liking to different fields which i feel is encouraged by her teacher Ms Mukta. We had arranged for a Tabla session for our customer team (on their request) who visited us from USA, Denmark and Poland. Bhimsen Joshi Academy arranged for the session based on availability of our customer team. The whole session was professionally managed and it was a nice and friendly experience overall. Different areas within the Academy were shown / demonstrated to the team followed by the actual Tabla session scheduled for them. While the customer team did not have any prior teaching or experience with Tabla, they wanted to experience it. The Tabla teacher was nice and had immense experience in this field. The session was very well managed while it was kept as a fun experience as well. I wish to look for such sessions with Bhimsen Joshi Academy in future too. Special thanks to Monish Mehta including the Tabla teacher, the children there and other teams. The piano and guitar classes at Swar Kala Kendra are really good. The teachers are skilled and give personal attention to every student. Guitar classes with the academy are very nice as Guitar Sir focuses on building the base of new students and introducing them to the new instrument. Pt. Bhimsen Joshi Sangeet Academy Music School is very professional and provides a good learning environment when it comes to a music class. Music classes are very good and the training methods used by Mukta ma'am (our Music teacher) are very nice. The Piano classes are also very nice.
